It says that you’re looking for more than just horse boarding facilities or a horse riding school. It says that you believe that horse ownership is about more than throwing on a saddle and using discipline-based tactics to get your horse to respond. It says that you’re looking for a more intelligent, thoughtful way to interact with your animal and that you want to experience a real relationship with your horse.
At BlackHawk our goal is to help you achieve everything you’ve ever dreamed of and to have the equestrian experience of a lifetime. Our approach is anchored in a natural horsemanship philosophy that will enable you to have a more enjoyable partnership with your animal – one that is based on trust, communication and an understanding of horse behavior rather than on artificial aids and resistance. Because of this approach:
- when you board your horse with us the horse care that is provided results in a happier and healthier horse, and
- the natural horsemanship training underlying all of our riding lessons will result in a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience for the student.
We also travel out to people's homes to help them with their horse.
